Corine Savy

Corine Savy, age 88 late of Peabody died on Wednesday after a lengthy illness in the Radius Healthcare in Danvers. She was born in Cuba and lived in Peabody since 1945. She was very proud to be an American citizen, loved her family and was an avid Cribbage player. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Savy. Dear daughter of the late Benjamin and Naomi Faro. Devoted mother of Joseph and his wife Robin Savy of Boston, Ben and his wife Shaun Savy of Palm Coast, FL, the late Norma Mazer, mother in law of Jason Mazur of Burlington, and their children whom she helped raise. Loving sister of Esther and her husband Miguel Zamek of Miami Beach, FL, sister in law of Jacob Bejar of Miami Beach, FL and the late Sarah Bejar, Nissim Faro, and Louisa Franco. Cherished grandmother of Perry Savy, Tracy Cranson, Peter Savy, Paige Savy, Jeffrey, Samuel and Daniel Mazur, Bryan, Beth, Melissa, Marc, Greg Savy and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services at the Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Cemetery Rd., (off Rte. 114 West), Danvers on Sunday, April 15 at 11:00 A.M. Memorial Observance following the graveside service from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the home of Jason Mazur. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Sisterhood of Temple Ner Tamid, 368 Lowell St., Peabody, MA 01960.
