Dorothy Swan of Marblehead, MA passed away on Yom Kippur September 26, 2012 after battling a long and courageous flight with Brain Cancer with dignity and grace. She loved life and traveling and always had a smile and wave for everyone even if she did not know them. She lived in Marblehead, MA over 60 years and grew up on a farm in North Reading, MA. She was a sweet, loving devoted mother and grandmother who will be missed greatly. She was the beloved wife of the late Sheldon Swan. She leaves behind her daughter, Diana Swan Gediman and her husband Marc Alex Gediman of Marblehead, MA. Her son, Dr. H.F. Swan and his wife Valarie Swan from Bethesda, MD and two grandchildren, Antonia and Oliver Swan from Manhattan, NY. Graveside services were held at Pride of Lynn Cemetery, Lynn, MA.
