Eli had recently relocated from the North Shore area, where he was raised and started his family, to begin a new chapter of his life living with his daughter, Nicole, her husband, Joshua, and their two sons, Jason and Niko.
He was born in New York but was raised and lived most of his life in Lynn, MA.
Eli was divorced from the late Marsha Pierce (LaPointe), with whom he remained close friends throughout most of their lives.
He was the most devoted and cherished father to his daughter, Nicole Whalen, and her husband, Joshua Whalen. He was also a very cherished and devoted Grampy to Nicole’s two sons, Jason Pierce and Niko Whalen.
He was the beloved son of the late Bernard and Edith Morris (Winokoor).
Eli was a graduate of Lynn Trade/Technical High School. He became a master electrician, working alongside his uncle before eventually owning and operating a well-known electrical company, Morris Electric, which serviced the North Shore.
Eli was a passionate dog owner and loved his dogs like they were his children. He was also an avid tool collector and was quite proud of his collection. He enjoyed woodworking, including watching many YouTube videos about DIY projects and making things himself. He also really enjoyed going to meet “the guys” for breakfast whenever he got the chance.
Eli was a very loved and cherished man by his family, friends, and even strangers. He was quite the jokester and had a very infectious belly laugh. He will be so very deeply missed by so many.
We invite you to join us on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. for a small graveside service at Ahavat Sholom, 16 Buxton Road, Danvers, MA.
