

Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her family, including her siblings, Rabbinic Pastor Matia Angelou and her husband David Osmond, David Belf Becker and his wife Jackie Belf-Becker, Ellen’s twin sister, Susan Grant, and her husband John Grant, and Charles Becker and his life partner, Sue Pevear; as well as her stepchildren, Chris Gray and Tim Gray, and her step-granddaughter, Marissa.
Ellen had a lifelong passion for the arts and entertainment. She began her career teaching kindergarten at Eveleth School in Marblehead, where she worked for 25 years.
Upon retiring, Ellen continued to pursue her love of the arts and entertainment. She worked as a paid extra in a number of notable productions, including Evening, Gone Baby Gone, 30 Rock, and The Heat, starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Ellen was especially proud of her appearance in The Heat. She was a member of SAG-AFTRA and Equity and also participated in Marblehead Little Theatre.
Ellen’s creativity extended beyond acting. She enjoyed painting with watercolors and was also an accomplished cake decorator.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:30 PM at Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead, MA 01945.
