Kay, Emanuel “Manny” 92, - of Peabody, formerly of Marblehead entered into rest September 4, 2021. Beloved husband of 62 years of the late Nordia Kay. Dear son of the late Jacob and Ida (Weiner) Kay. Devoted father of Carl Kay and his wife Yoko of Japan and Laurie Mallas and her husband Thomas of Swampscott. Cherished grandfather of Marissa Zolotas and her husband Gregory, William Mallas, Wataru Kay and Eriko Kay. Loving great grandfather of John G. Zolotas. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend Jeanne Weikert of Peabody. After serving in the Army during the Korean war, Manny graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a PhD in Psychology. He was an Industrial Psychologist for over 40 years. He loved spending time with his family, friends and enjoyed time at his summer home in Vermont. Due to regulation imposed by the Coronavirus Pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Manny’s memory to the Brooksby Resident Care Fund c/o Resident Life, 200 Brooksby Village Drive Peabody, MA 01960. We want to share a couple of memories we had with Manny. We had a fun time celebrating his 90th birthday with family and a nice trip to Vermont to spend time with his friend Jean and his daughter Laurie and my brother Tom.
