Gerald Peter Shostak

Peter Shostak entered into rest on May 19, 2020, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Myra (z”l). Devoted father of Sara and Eli, and their spouses, Matt and Erin. Cherished grandfather of Delia. The loving brother of Arthur and Stanley. Proud uncle of Scott, Mark, Daniel, Russell, Mari and Serena. Dear son of the late Milton and Bessie Shostak (z”l).

He grew up in Brooklyn, graduated from NYU, and completed his Master in Health Administration at the University of Minnesota. He took precious care of his family, working tirelessly to make sure they would have everything they needed to flourish. He was committed to excellence in all that he did, and was a leader in hospital administration. He loved fishing, gardening, and cooking. He was a strong and beautiful person, whom we will dearly miss and forever remember.

Funeral services are private due to regulations imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic.
