FRIEDMAN, Harriet Carol Entered into rest Oct. 5 of Marblehead. Belovedd wife of Edward Friedman. Dear daughter of the late Max and Miriam (King) Gold. Devoted mother of Debbie Friedman and her husband David Gustavson, Joel Friedman and his wife Sharon Burtman. Cherished grandmother of Ian, Ilana, and Emma Gustavson and Lillian Friedman. Loving sister of the late Susan Gold and Harvey Gold. Harriet was a graduate of Wellesley College, Class of 1958. She had an early career as a computer programmer, back when women were rare in that field. Her later career as a grandmother was her favorite job. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., SALEM-SWAMPSCOTT Line on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in the Ahabat Sholom Memorial Park in Danvers. Shiva following the interment until 3:30 P.M., at the home of Debbie Friedman and David Gustavson. The family will be receiving relatives and friends Sunday Oct. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m., at the home of Debbie Friedman and David Gustavson.
