Janet Labovitz Foster, born September 9. 1916, daughter of William and Anna Bargad, died peacefully on March 22, 2012. Before first moving to Lake Worth, and then West Palm Beach, FL, she had resided in Lynn and Swampscott, MA.
She was predeceased by her two loving and caring husbands, Jack Labovitz and Lewis Foster.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Irving (Donna), George (Barbara), and Stanley (Patricia) Labovitz; and her daughter Nancy Garber (Robert). She leaves 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
While participating in many Jewish and charitable organizations over the years, her unmatched devotion to her family always remained paramount. In turn, she rightfully enjoyed the blessing of their never-ending love and respect.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 25, at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Chapel in Vinnin Square, Salem, Mass, at 10:00 A.M. to be followed by burial at the Pride of Lynn Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather at the Summit Estates Clubhouse, 1000 Paradise Road, Swampscott, MA, directly after interment.
Our mother would assuredly have invited any contributions to be made, not for herself, but to the Cystic Fibrosis Center, Children’s Hospital Boston, in our entire family’s eternal loving memory of her beloved late grandson, David Labovitz. That would be our Mother’s way.
