Janice Anita Wolff

Janice Wolff – of Salem, entered into rest on May 31, 2022 at the age of 89. Devoted mother of Steven and Leslie Wolff, Eric and Lisa Wolff, Louis Wolff and Paul Fournier, Paul Wolff and Cori Grapin. Cherished grandmother of Alexander (Oliva), Adam, Sarah (David) and Benjamin. Janice was predeceased by Ruth Rubin,Vivian Wiener, Melvin Benson & Estelle Goldstein. Dear daughter of the late Louis and Pearl (Gidansky).

She raised her family in West Peabody and Swampscott in later years moved to Salem.

She was a dedicated member of Hadassah, Peabody and Salem Senior Center. She volunteered for many years at Peabody Senior Center Bingo.

She loved playing Mahjong, telling stories, making candy for every occasion, cooking and entertaining. She cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service for Janice will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00AM at Stanetsky Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA with interment at Rabbi Isaac Elchonon Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA.

Shiva will be held at Janice’s home. Friday June 3, 2022 from 3-7PM and again Saturday, June 4, 2022 12-4PM.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Peabody Council of aging, 70 Central Street, Peabody, MA.
