

She was the cherished grandmother of Gregory and Esther Chulsky of Jerusalem; Jonathan and Tziporah Chulsky of Paris; and Daniel Chulsky of Chelsea, MA. She was the tender great-grandmother of David, Yosef, Avraham, Mendel, Shmuel, Moussia, Shterna, and Devorah Chulsky.
Janna was the loving sister of Alex Golger and the dear daughter of the late Claudia Braginsky and Leonid Golger.
Born and raised in Moscow, USSR, Janna graduated from the Institute of Railroad Engineering. She worked as a researcher in the textile industry and later as a teacher at a vocational school. She raised her family in Moscow before immigrating to the United States in January of 1988.
After settling on the North Shore, Janna worked at the North Shore Employment Training Center and Jewish Family Service of the North Shore. She assisted many individuals with preparation for their U.S. Naturalization exams, resume creation, and employment interview readiness.
Janna had a warm and friendly personality and was deeply committed to volunteering in her community. She volunteered at the Swampscott Senior Center and the Swampscott High School Library, where she formed many meaningful friendships.
A funeral service for Janna Zazovsky will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 12:00PM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA. Interment will follow at Pride of Lynn Cemetery on Lake Shore Road in Lynn.
Shiva will be observed at 99 Farragut Road on January 5th to January 8th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM; January 9 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM; and January 11th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
