Jay Howard Davidson

Jay H. Davidson, 71, of Randolph, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025 surrounded by his family. Dear son of the late Bernard and Evelyn (Abrams) Davidson and son-in-law of the late David and Phyllis (Tenovsky) Barruw. Jay is survived by his loving wife Brenda (Barruw) Davidson with whom he shared 27 years of marriage. He was the devoted father to Jeffrey A. Davidson.

Beloved brother to his sisters Susan Davidson and Lisa (Davidson) Plosker and brother-in-law to Robert Plosker, the late Susan Barruw and Barbara Bryant, Janice and Mark Ross, Amy and Paul Sliva, Marcy and Scott Sawin and Natalie and Kevin Ferrari . He was the uncle to Dr. Aaron Plosker MD (Alyssa), Bennett Plosker, Andrea and Danielle Ross, Lauren and Ashley Sliva, Frank and Thomas Sawin and Benjamin Ferrari. He was the great-uncle to Caleb, Maya, Bridget and Cadence Plosker.

Jay was the well respected owner of Daye Distributors, a printing supply company located in Randolph. He was known for his dedication to his many clients.

Jay earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Suffolk University in Business Administration, demonstrating both perseverance and a desire for personal growth.

Jay loved working on antique cars, going to concerts, taking road trips, taking in sporting events and spending time with his family. Jay was known for his generosity, warmth, intelligence, humor and his ability to help others. His kind spirit and legacy of love will be cherished by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held for Jay on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The New Tifereth Israel Of Everett Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA 02149. Shiva will be observed following the service from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Prince Pizzeria located at 517 Broadway, Route 1 South, Saugus, MA 01906
