
Marcia (Bloom) Wolinski, age 78 of Swampscott, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Thursday in the Kaplan Family Hospice in Danvers. Born in Lynn, the daughter of the late Harry and Esther Bloom and daughter-in-law of the late Dr. M. Paul and Belle Wolinski. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Burton Wolinski. She leaves her wonderful family Mark and his wife Nancy Wolinski of Swampscott, Richard and his wife Kathy Wolinski of No. Andover. Cherished grandmother of Jacob and Zachary Wolinski, Lauren and Meredith Wolinsk Loving sister of Edith (Yuddie) and her husband Ben Spector and the late Jean and her late husband Nate Siegel, her sister-in-law Irma Kline and her nieces and nephews who were so close dear to her; Howie and Lois Selgiman, Ed and Donna Seligman Beverly Bloch, Roberta and Don Ribatt, Gregg and Polly Ribatt, Scot Kline, Lisa and Dana Andrews and great nieces and nephews; Adam and Todd Seligman, Jessica and Ariana Seligman, Jaime Bloch, Michael and Jessie Bloch, Haley and Sam Andrews, Emily, Alexa, and Jason Ribatt. Marcia’s family was so important to her.
She graduated from Lynn Classical High School 1950. She spent many years as a bookkeeper. Her early years were spent at Automotive Distributors in Lynn until she started her family. After a short break to raise her family, she went back to work in 1969 for Arnold Kline and Jack Stahl when they started in business S & K Shoe Co., later to become Boston Trading/Boston Traders Clothing Importers. She continued there until 1995 when the business was sold, but, still remained as part time bookkeeper for Arnold Kline and Maria Kline for Jack Arnold Realty Trust until her death. She spent most of her time growing up after school hours at the Lynn Jewish Community Center participating in many of their activities. She also spent several summers as a counselor at Camp Simchah. Marcia was also active on the Shaughnessy Kaplan Patient Care and Advisory Committeei. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the Cong. Shirat Hayam Cemetery, Beth El Section, Lowell St., Peabody. Memorial Observance at her late residence on Sunday following the interment and Monday. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Mass. General Hospital Cancer Care, 100A Endicott St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
