Born in New York, she was the daughter of Herman and Hannah Chaves. Marilyn was a Special Education teacher of high school students in Marblehead for many years. After retiring from teaching Marilyn worked at the House of Seven Gables in Salem in their education department.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Kenneth Stoll and his wife Gayle, Ellen Miller and her husband Harold, and Howard Stoll and his wife Arlene. She was the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services were held at a private ceremony on Sunday. Contributions in her memory may be made to My Brother’s Table in Lynn, Mass.
