

Millie was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Oslon, devoted mother of Richard Oslon, loving sister of the late Rita Drucker of Holmdel, New Jersey, and cherished daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Karmin.
Born in the Bronx, New York, Millie graduated from Hunter College. She later settled in Swampscott, Massachusetts, where she raised her family and built a life centered around education, community, and family.
Millie began her career as an elementary school teacher in New York. After moving to Massachusetts, she continued teaching at Hillel Academy before later dedicating herself to being a homemaker.
A dedicated member of Temple Israel of Swampscott, Millie devoted countless hours to her synagogue and community. She was active in Hadassah and held numerous leadership and volunteer roles within the Sisterhood of Temple Israel. She was also a Bronze member of the 1776 Guild of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, which recognizes generous lifelong supporters of Phi Beta Kappa.
An avid learner with many interests, Millie enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and closely following the stock market. She was a loyal reader of The Boston Globe, Barron's, and Investor's Business Daily, and took great interest in the intricacies of buying and selling stocks for long-term investment.
Millie was also a talented seamstress, a skill lovingly passed down to her by her mother at a young age. Known throughout her neighborhood as the "Mahjong Queen," she delighted in teaching the game to anyone eager to learn.
Above all, Millie treasured the time she spent with family and friends. Her warmth, intelligence, generosity, and enthusiasm for learning left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Private funeral services will be held.
