BB- you were supposed to live forever! At least it felt like you would....You were the most dynamic, inspiring, exciting man I know and the world is so much blander without you! Who else wears a year round tan with a salmon colored blazer? Who plays 36 holes of golf and walks 10 miles during a typical weekend at 87 years old? Who else can down 2 double martinis before even looking at the menu yet not show any signs of being effected by the booze? And who do you know that starts a new business, expands his existing ones and shows up at the office every single day at 87 years old? The answer is simple- BB thats who. The one and only BOB BREST. God I miss you......

Dear Naomi, Jennifer & Peter, and Lisa and family -
Paula and I send our condolences. Uncle Bob was indeed a larger than life character and a mainstay in our family. He was my benefactor and employer of last resort, giving me a summer job when I was at loose ends after getting out of college and always saying he had a job for me (whether I was qualified for it or not). I have great memories of our family get-togethers on both coasts, where Uncle Bob's sense of humor, generosity, and unique personal touch were always a highlight. He also set an example of tremendous resilience in overcoming the hardships that beset him in later life, never losing his optimism and determination. We'll miss him a lot. Love, Paul and Paula

Bob had "The Greatest Story Ever Sold"..., an ad campaign I wrote for him back in the 70's and 80's. A wonderful man surely to be missed. Somewhere up in heaven there's a sale being made right now!

Bob Brest had the "Greatest Story Ever Sold". I ought to know... I wrote the ad for him back in the 70's and 80's. Somewhere up in heaven he's still making a sale!

My condolences to all that knew Bob. Even in his time of sickness, the first words out of his mouth after the auction were, "how did you do today?" A real gentleman that will be remembered.

I'm sorry I missed Bob (BB's) Biggest sale ever, I bet he was wheeling * dealing up intil his last breathe, Bob was really bigger then life, he lived life to the fulliest, I bet their is a Bob Brest dealership and or Auction somewhere above us, billboards in the sky & this dark guy everyone calls BB or Bob, some even Dad, lives among us.

My Prayers go out to Jennifer & Lisa, their spouses, and children, My prayers go out to Peter Miller Bob's right hand man, many of us have shared this great pleasure, his right hand, his left he kept to himself..

I played cards with Bob, when Jennifer had a party, back than it was Jody, Lisa was just her little sister, wow how things change when your not watching, now I'd say friends for life, the sisterhood... I'm sorry I missed Bob's biggest day, Ever... My Prayers & Happy Thoughts are with you all.
