Sandi was a lovely person whom I knew from our days at Hebrew College. Saw her when she came north in the summer. Was very fond of her. She will be missed. Condolences to her family. May her name be for a blessing.

Ronnie, Jill & Jeffrey.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Sandie & I had reconnected in Sarasota through a mutual friend, Sherry Simons, shortly before she became ill. I only saw her a few times & had been looking forward to continuing our renewed friendship. My heart goes out to the family. Alev Ha Shalom, Sandie

It was with great sadness that I learned of Sandie's passing. She was a lovely, warm and very courageous person, one of the first women I many years ago when joining Temple Beth Israel. I have wonderful memories of sharing happy occasions with her. She will be missed by all!

I was so sad to hear of Sandy's passing at Temple Beth Israel of Longboat Key this morning. I am a fairly new member and did not know anyone when I joined the Temple shortly after my husband passed away and I moved to Florida alone from New York. Sandy was one of the first to make me feel welcome and part of the TBI family. Although she had so many "old" friends at TBI, she emanated warmth and kindness to everyone. When I celebrated my birthday with a lunch kiddush on Saturday morning in March 2018, I asked Sandy to take an aliyah, as she read the torah so beautifully. It was then that she told me she was busy preparing to move home. I knew she was ill, but didn't know about her struggle with cancer, which she shared with me. The world will miss this loving, kind person. And I will always remember her.
