

STOCKMAN, Saul Of Marblehead and Delray Beach, FL. Entered into rest October 20th, 2011. Originally from Revere, Saul along with his wife Florence raised their family in Marblehead where they were longtime members of Kernwood Country Club and Temple Israel of Swampscott. Saul enjoyed golf, and current events but his love of family was his first priority. He was an accomplished singer and crooner, having recorded a few songs during his younger years and still performing at local clubs until his retirement. Saul was President of Irving Tanning and was an innovator in the creative use of leather in fashion during a challenging period for his industry and helped to keep the domestic leather industry strong. Devoted husband of the late Florence Kline Stockman. Beloved father of Dr. Mark Stockman and his wife Jayne Anne Phillips, Jessica Stockman and Bonnie Woods and her husband Brian Woods. Dear brother of the late Ida Kirstein Gruzen, Samuel Stockman and Anne Stockman. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Services at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapels, 10 Vinnin Street, SALEM on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment will follow at the Anshai Sfard Cemetery in Danvers. Memorial observance will be at the Woods Residence, 4-7 PM through Tuesday.
