November 19, 1948 – July 26, 2026
Our hearts are heavy with a profound, unspeakable grief as we announce the passing of our guiding light, Vitaliy B. Yelaun, who left this world peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the age of 77. A cherished resident of Framingham, Massachusetts, Vitaliy was born on November 19, 1948. He was a man of immense warmth, quiet dignity, and an open heart, whose devotion to his family knew no bounds.
As a family man, Vitaliy was our rock, our protector, and our greatest comfort. His spirit (neshama) was defined by a beautiful, gentle wisdom and a selfless commitment to acts of kindness (chesed). He walked through life fulfilling mitzvot not out of obligation, but out of a deep, genuine love for humanity and his heritage. He built a home filled with timeless values, passing down a legacy of absolute integrity.
He leaves behind an enduring legacy through his devoted wife, Golda Yelaun; his two beloved sons, Sasha Yelaun and Severin Yelaun; his daughters-in-law, Anna and Margaret; and his cherished grandchildren, Arianna and Marine, who brought him endless joy. The world feels profoundly emptier without him, but the light of his beautiful soul will forever illuminate our paths and live on vividly in our hearts.
Arrangements are under the gentle care of Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel.
Family and friends are invited to gather to weep, remember, and celebrate Vitaliy’s life on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St, Salem, Massachusetts 01970.
Following the service, Vitaliy will be laid to rest according to tradition at Ahavath Achim Anshei Sfard Cemetery, 89 Lakeshore Rd, Lynn, Massachusetts 01904.
In keeping with our traditions, Shiva will be observed in the comforting intimacy of his personal home and neighborhood, closer to the community he loved. If you would like details regarding the Shiva times and location, please contact his family directly.
May his pure soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life. Zichrono livracha—may his memory forever be a comfort and a blessing.
