William H. Leavitt – of Revere, entered into rest on November 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (Segal) Leavitt. Devoted father of Suzanne Titus and her husband Nicholas of Peabody, Michael Leavitt of Peabody, Marcie Abainou and her husband Driss of Revere and David Leavitt and his wife Suzie of Burlington. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. The loving brother of Robert Leavitt of Revere. Dear son of the late Edward and Ruth (Andelman) Leavitt. Loving companion of Rosalie Cohen.
He grew up in Chelsea graduated from Chelsea High School and raised his family in Peabody. He spent many years with Royal Business Machines becoming Vice President. He cherished his time spent with family, friends, and loved a good card game.
A funeral service for William will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 10AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA 01970 with interment at the Jewish Community Center of Chelsea Cemetery on 16 Buxton Road in Danvers, MA 01923. Shiva will be held at the Home of David and Suzie please call the funeral home for details.
