Alex, I’m so proud to have been your friend.

My family had the joy of watching you grow up—running through the vineyard, helping in the winery, and moving through each chapter of life with kindness, strength, and grace. You became such a thoughtful, handsome young man, and I’ll always treasure the time we shared—whether working side by side or sitting down for lunch and talking about our hopes and dreams.

I remember writing a heartfelt recommendation for you when you were preparing to serve in the Army. It was an honor, just like it was an honor to know you.

To the Ibarra Cisneros family—Manuel and Angie, who raised such a remarkable son—please know how much you mean to us. You are our family too, and our hearts are with you now.

May he forever be in our Lord’s grace and rest in eternal peace.

I first met Alex back in highschool and he was very kind and easy to talk to. I didn’t have many friends when I first moved up to this state. But Alex was one of the first and few to make me feel welcome in my new home & town. Life happens, and out of school we begin our adult endeavors in the real world. But the past year we’ve really been connected again like we used to be and sharing common interests over guns and theology. Talking about the Lord, Jesus and his promises. Personal and close conversations of struggles in our beliefs and ultimately it felt as the teaching of iron sharpens iron. I am devastated I lost my friend, and brother in Christ. To his mom & dad, thank you for giving us your son. This cruel world never deserved his heart. I sincerely hope nothing more than for Alex to be resting in paradise with Jesus Christ for eternity. May the Lord have mercy and pity on Alex, and bless him for all the time endured in his silence through his internal battles. May the love and healing of the Lord be with us all in this time of grief but to especially his family.
