

Arthur Charles "Chuck" Collier, 90 of Salem Oregon passed away peacefully at home on December 04, 2025. Chuck was born on February 28, 1935 in Drumright OK to Robert and Jesse Collier. As a child the family moved to Oregon and lived in many places around the Willamette Valley. He attended Cascade High until he joined the Army and served in the Korean War. After discharge from the service, he obtained his high school diploma from Stayton High. He started a career in law enforcement that led to a position of Chief of Police in Turner, Oregon. He later started a long career as a carpet installer and was the owner of Collier's Carpet Service.
In 1964 he married the love of his life Donna (Pardo) and together they raised 5 children. Chuck had many interests including gardening, woodcutting, traveling and camping adventures with family and friends. Chuck was a long-time member of the Elk's and Eagles. Chuck also had many canine companions.
Chuck was known for his strong work ethic, something he passed down to his children. He also played as hard as his worked.
Chuck was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Jim and Tom Collier, wife Donna Collier. He is survived by his 5 children Sheryl Williams (Mitch) Roger King (Diane) Carrie Dennis, Laura Sessums and Kim Morris (Tedd) also 11 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Celebration of life will be at a future date.
