Audrey Delores Arnold

Audrey passed into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 19, 2015 at the age of 97. Audrey was born in Kennewick, Washington and spent her adolescent years in eastern Washington and high school years in Bellevue, Washington. After graduating from high school Audrey attended Seattle Pacific College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1941. Audrey worked at the post office in Bellevue and played the piano at the Bellevue First Baptist Church. Audrey always had a love for music and played the piano at many churches and other functions throughout her life. In 1943 she met and married Ronald C. Arnold. In 1948 Audrey and Ron relocated to Portland, Oregon so Ron could attend Multnomah Bible College and enter the ministry. Audrey was a dedicated wife and mother. She raised her family while assisting Ron as a pastor's wife at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church near Gresham, Oregon until 1960. From 1960 to 1963 she assisted him with his various ministries while living in the Portland area and from 1963 to 1978 while living in Southern California. Audrey and Ron moved to Salem, Oregon in 1978 where she was Ron's secretary until retirement. After retirement Audrey continued to be active in the Grace Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon until she moved to a retirement center and then an assisted living facility in the Portland, Oregon area. Audrey's husband Ron preceded her in death in 2011. Audrey had six children, Keith, who preceded her in death in 1999, David, Lois, Miriam, Fredric, and Joyce. She also had 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
