Portland ~ Bobbie Hope, 27, died May 15, 2010 with her family by her bedside in Portland, Oregon from complications related to a series of strokes. She was born September 8, 1982 in Salem, Oregon to John and Patricia Gunn. She attended South Salem High School and Chemeketa Community College. She loved singing, writing, poetry, cooking and sewing.
Bobbie was a loving mother and is survived by her daughters, Chloe and Savanna Gunn; parents John and Patricia; sister Alicia (Darin) Coker; and two brothers, Jake (Melissa) Gunn and Joshua Gunn. She had four nieces and one nephew whom she loved very much, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
A public viewing will take place Friday, May 21, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and a memorial service will be held Saturday, May 22 at 2 p.m., both at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem.
