Brenda Sturn

Brenda Lee Sturn passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61 years old. Brenda was born the fourth child to parents Edward G. Sturn and Inez V. (Schneider) Sturn in Salem, Oregon. Brenda was the only girl among her siblings and formed an undeniable bond with her mother that was evident throughout her life and into adulthood.

Brenda graduated from Sprague High School in 1980 and began her career working with people that had developmental disabilities at Fairview Training Center. Her years of work always led her in the direction of care, she was very compassionate and did not judge the circumstances of others, her truest and most precious quality was caring for people and loving unconditionally.

Brenda received the gift of motherhood first to Nicole in 1986 and then Leann within a year. She loved her girls very much and spent immeasurable amounts of time with them and when she became a grandmother, she cherished the time spent with them.

Brenda is survived by her daughters Nicole Sturn, Leann (Lucas) McCargar, her grandchildren, Christian, Logan, and Ryliee. Her brothers, Dwight (Robin), Rick (Janet), Brian (Mary), and Barry (Susan), along with many nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a private family burial with a celebration of life planned for a later date. In honor of Brenda please give your loved ones a big hug!
