With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brigitte Rolph—a devoted mother and grandmother, a beloved sister, and a tireless volunteer in her community. She was 86 years old.
During her life, Brigitte lived in both the United States and Germany, eventually making her home in Oregon where she developed a deep love for the beauty of the community and area.
Brigitte was a vital and compassionate presence in Salem. Her role as a banker allowed her to meet and speak with the community. She had a passion for the arts, particularly opera and ballet, and an unwavering dedication to service. One of the contributions that she found most meaningful was her extensive advocacy for Alzheimer’s research, especially through her involvement with Team Diane in the Alzheimer’s Walk. Supported by her church family Team Diane won a number of top contributor awards over the years.
Brigitte’s legacy is one of resilience, generosity, and love—a life well-lived in service to others.
Brigitte was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Rolph. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Diane Rolph, her beloved son, Harold Rolph, three grandchildren, and three siblings. She will be deeply missed.
Celebration of life to be held July 26th at 11:00 am at Morningside Church.
In lieu of flowers please donate to Alzheimer’s Association, Team Diane 2025.
