Burgess Ronald “Ron” Baller was born December 11, 1958 in Astoria, Oregon to Larry and Carol (Gates) Baller. Ron grew up in Springfield and Prineville. He married Billie Baller and together they raised four children and later divorced. He worked as a delivery driver for Sodexo for many years and met his future bride, Tracy Haldum-Romero, who was cooking for Lee Elementary This added two grown children to the family. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being in the mountains. He often spent time at the beach to accommodate Tracy. He had a passion for the Oregon Ducks and NASCAR as a Dale Jr. fan. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Baller, children; Robert Murphy, Deedra Coffey, Carolanne Nitto, Sarah Royall, Allyson Romero and Travis Romero. The YMCA Youth Development Department has had the amazing opportunity of seeing and talking with Ron most week days when he came in to deliver the Childrens after school snacks. He was always kind and friendly, with a great smile. He spoke often of his wife and camping. He is missed. Strength to you.
Sincerely, Felicia Fisher - YMCA Youth Development Administrative Assistant
