Dale W. Lee

Dale joined the US Army and served in the Korean War where he was wounded while on sentry duty. As a result, he lost vision in one eye.

He married the love of his life, Joann (Walter) Lee on July 7, 1953 and was a graduate of Cascade Union High School in Aumsville and Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls. He held numerous jobs and was a co-owner of Salem Yellow Cab when he retired.

Dale was a lifelong active member of the Free Methodist Church and enjoyed serving his Lord and Savior.

He is preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings (Rachel, Melvin, Mervin, Freeman, Jason, Dorothy, Alvin and Wesley). He is survived by his wife Joann and his son Robert Edward (Nancy).

A memorial service will be held at Salem First Free Methodist Church, 4455 Silverton Rd. on Thursday July 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his honor at Union Gospel Mission in Salem https://ugmsalem.org/
