His youth was full of laughter and adventures with his brother, Kevin Davis-Pilcher and cousins. The family camped, explored and fished in La Pine, Oregon and surrounding areas.
He attended Aumsville Elementary, Morningside Elementary, Leslie Middle School & South Salem High School. He received his GED in the Oregon Correctional Institution. He went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Welding Technology at Chemeketa Community College.
He worked for a variety of businesses as a Fabricator, most recently at ATC. He was an expert in his field and known by many for the work he did.
Darren was an example of perseverance, faith, and strength. He had been in recovery for 25 years and received his baptismal sacrament at the SOS Club.
