David was born in Salem, Oregon and was raised in Sublimity and Stayton, Oregon. Soon after graduating high school in Stayton, David met his wife Kristi Kendall and the two of them moved to Arkansas. Years after their marriage ended, David moved back to his home state of Oregon and lived the remainder of his life in Salem. He lived with and is survived by his brother Steven Paul, sister Julie Kaye, nephews Hayden Allan and Brendon Michael, along with his sister-in-law Ruth Catherine. David leaves behind his sisters Mylissa Sue and Kimberly Ann, brother Christopher Lee, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
David was a very easy-going individual who had a good heart and was a loving brother, uncle, and individual who was taken from us before his time. He was very talented in his woodwork and enjoyed working at the small business he and his ex-wife Kristi had. David was smart, talented, and could do just about anything. He was an old-fashioned, family oriented man who spent all of his time with his family. He loved taking his nieces and nephews and family to the coast in his motorhome to camp and go crabbing. He loved to visit the sand dunes where he would enjoy riding his 3-wheeler. In his free time, David also really enjoyed glass blowing and had a knack for mechanics.
David is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Farmer, who he adored and loved very much. He talked of mom quite often and had really been lost since she had passed. Now, they are both found and reunited together. We can’t begin to express the love we have for him and just how much he will be missed every day. We will miss his shining smile and the good times we spent with David. He is at peace and with our mother, in the arms of Jesus.
May God bless him and may he sleep with the angels.
We love you, David, will all our hearts.
