Diane Marie Gillitzer

March 13, 1954 – September 15, 2026

Diane Marie Gillitzer (Follis), 72, was born March 13, 1954, in Oakland, California, to Miller Eugene Follis and Marie Genevieve Layman (Kirsch), and was raised primarily in Oregon.

Diane spent her career as an accountant for the State of Oregon’s Labor and Industries Division. She loved spending time with her family, taking drives, date nights with her husband, gardening and sewing. Diane had a wonderful sense of humor, a sharp wit and a mischievous side known well by those closest to her.

Diane is survived by her loving and doting husband of 25 years, Thomas Donald Gillitzer; her mother, Marie Genevieve Layman (Kirsch); her children, Brenda Floyd; Robert Primm Jr. and his partner, Susan Marks; Alina Hall and her significant other, Drake Elder; Aaron Primm and his husband, Frederick Lebrecque; and Corinne Trufant and her husband, Nathan Trufant.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kylee Hall and her significant other, “Poor Ryan”; Trevor Primm and his significant other, Megan; Kyle Primm and his fiancée, Kaytlynn; Olivia Elder and her significant other, Connor Phay; Lillie Delgado-Carter; Samantha Trufant; Brittany Balls and her husband, Travis; Emmett Balls; Koleman Balls; Brayleigh Balls; Skyler Balls; Casey Balls; Kelsey Gilstrap and her husband, Ethan; Alexis Nielson and her husband, Kyler; and Braden Floyd; her great-grandchildren, Zaine Lawson, Aubrey Lawson and Cole; and her four brothers and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Corinna Marie “Pinky” Primm, and her father, Miller Eugene Follis.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Belcrest Memorial Park, 1295 Browning Avenue South, Salem, Oregon 97302.
