

Dominica S. Eaton, passed away on the evening of May 22, 2025, in Salem, Oregon, at the age of 86 years. She was surrounded by her family and good friends. Born in the Philippines on December 15, 1938, Dominica was the only daughter. Her parents were killed during World War II in the Philippines in 1941. Dominica immigrated from the Philippines to U.S. in November 1973 with her husband and daughter. She worked as a CNA/Caregiver for many years with The Dallas Nursing Home, Capital Manor and A Place Like Home. She was a member of the Greater Salem Filipino-American Association (GSFAA) for over 30 years and was one of the Board Members. Every year she loved to cook the lumpia (egg rolls) in the GSFAA Food Booth at the World Beat Festival.
Dominica loved to work in her big yard mowing the lawn and growing beautiful plants and flowers to relieve her stress and for her enjoyment. She enjoyed dining out with family and friends during any special occasion like her birthday. Dominica loved to go dancing at the Keizer Elks Lodge with many good friends.
Dominica is survived by her daughter, Marilou Salazar, granddaughter, Heather Brisbin, and five great-grandchildren, Joshua, Aaron, Lani, Grace and Kaleb. She was a friend to many, she will leave an empty place in our lives and will be greatly missed by her loving family and good friends.
A Viewing and Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service – 605 Commercial St SE, Salem, OR 97301.

Recitation of Rosary 2:00pm-2:30pm
Mass 2:30pm-3:30pm.
Interment will be at City View Cemetery on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2:00pm.
