Donna's parents divorced when she was 6 years old and from that time on lived with various people, mostly her grandparents and Aunt Babette. She ended up living in Portland with her Mother and Stepfather. She graduated from Cleveland High in 1949. While living in Portland (1947 - 1950), She became involved in competitive swimming becoming a State High School Champion in backstroke and all Northwest Champion in backstroke.
At the age of 15 she met the love of her life Jack Cook at High School dance in Dallas. They were married in October 5th, 1950 in Dallas. This marriage produced a son Randy (1952) abd daughter Marcia Ann (1953) deceased 8-19-2016.
In 1959 Donna began working at Salel Title Co. later named PNTI. She worked there almost 35 years retiring in August 1993.
Family was most important to Donna and she loved having all of her family together at her home for holidays and special occasions. She also liked camping, hunting with Jack and Randy, swimming, bowling and decorating and painting their homes.
