With profound sadness, we are sharing the news of the passing of Douglas A. Wright. His departure was sudden and occurred on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Aged 28, Douglas was an invaluable presence in our lives.
Douglas was a compassionate and loyal friend to many, often reserving the most wholesome of his smiles and the warmest of his hugs for those fortunate enough to be his friends. His love for skateboarding, snowboarding, and video games was obvious to anyone who spent time with him, and he took great delight in teaching his father how to snowboard, providing many moments of shared laughter and learning.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Steve and Michelle Wright, his bonus mom Esther Dugan, his sister Amanda Clifford, and brothers Logan Pembroke-Wright and Alex Woodall, as well as countless other family members and friends.
We are planning a celebration of his life to be held in May 2025.
