Ethelmae Sanders age 96 died at her home in Salem. Born at Ft. Totten Agency, ND a daughter to Charles M. and Ethel Ziebach. She had 6 siblings who preceded her in death. She grew up and attended college and taught children at Yankton, SD. She moved to Oregon in 1945 to work at the Chemawa Indian School and retired from service in 1973. She married Ruben Sanders Jr. who passed away in 1949 is survived by daughter, Sheila Kirkwood, and grandchildren Eric C. Kirkwood and Karen C. Halstead and two great grandchildren.
