Eunice Theriault

Eunice was born on 02/06/1933, and passed peacefully in her sleep on 02/15/2023. She had just turned 90 years of age. She was born in North Bend, OR and was the only child of Eric and Maria Brynteson. She is survived by her husband Don, three daughters, Susan, Jane, Lisa; 4 grandchildren, Matt, Melissa, Ashley, Brooke; 3 great grandchildren, Tayanna, Dorian, Thiago.

Don and Eunice met as students at the University of Oregon in 1952 and were married in 1953. In the early years Eunice worked in banking to help support them while Don finished his studies.

Eunice and Don loved to travel and did so to many parts of the world and extensively in the US. They were veteran RV’ers both traveling on their own and as members of the Orelaine Roamers, an active RV club.

Soon after retirement, Eunice and Don became interested in the buying and selling of Depression Era glassware. They spent 12 years engaged in this hobby/business showing their glass collection at antique glass shows in the Western States.

Eunice and Don enjoyed playing cards and board games. They spent many pleasurable hours in the pastime with family, close friends, and the RV club.

Eunice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed cooking for the family and friends.

We will miss her.

There will be a reception in her honor from 1pm to 4pm, Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service 605 Commercial St. SE, Salem, Oregon 97301.
