Salem ~ Gordon was born in Salem, Oregon to Wilmer C. Wells and Irma (Sawyer) Wells. He attended school in Salem, served in the US Air Force, and worked as a Fiscal Officer for the Oregon Employment Division for 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife, Maisie; children Quentin Wells; Reggie (Susan) Wells; Doug (Gail) Ellis; Dave (Sandra) Ellis; Debbie (Ron) Addison; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 5303 River Road N, Keizer. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Willamette Valley Hospice or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home.
