James (Jim) Odell Anderson, 67, was born in Lebanon, Oregon on June 23, 1959 to Richard and Trudie Anderson. He grew up surrounded by four brothers and two sisters, living and attending schools in Lebanon, Enterprise, and Salem, Oregon.
Jim loved the outdoors, including fishing and riding his bike, and he had an appreciation for classic cars and trucks. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He especially loved kidding and joking around. His faith in God sustained him through many challenges in life.
Jim is survived by his son, Joshua, and daughter, Alicia, his brothers Richard, Edward, Vance, and Montie, his sister, Ruth, step-sister Brenda, and many other family members who will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Vanessa, his nephew, Ryan, and his nieces Rachel and Amber.
The family wishes to thank the staff at The Tokarski Home for their compassionate care of Jim during his last days.
A Funeral Service will be held at Virgil T. Golden in Salem on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Viewing is from noon to 1:00 pm. Interment will be at 3:00 pm at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lebanon, Oregon.
