Had some good visits with this good man. He was an inspiration of hard work and a wealth of knowledge in the trucking business. 
It was an honor to call him my friend.

Unfortunately our lives grow apart over the years and we lose track of old friends, but I will always cherish the friendship of Jim and Maudeen. 
One of my first days in a big rig was riding with Jim the summer of 1976 in the mountains above Sweet Home. It was a day I've always remembered the best, even after over 32 years of my own trucking career. Doug and Dennis and I became good friends in high school and were some of the best friends I ever had.  
Both were in my wedding and I in Dennis and Judy's. 
My God Bless the family. I hope you are all doing well.
