Loving father, grandfather, and devoted husband James "Diamond Jim" Vern Reimann, age 78, of Keizer, Oregon passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018. James was born in Salem, Oregon on April 13, 1940 to Jennie and Vern Reimann.
Jim graduated from North Salem High School in 1958. He started his own real estate company, Reimann Associates, which has operated over the past 40 years. He was voted Citizen of the Year for the City of Keizer. Jim never really retired and was still active in business. He was recently honored for his service to Salem-Keizer School District in 2018.
Jim is survived by his spouse, Beverly Jean Reimann; daughter Renee Gilbertson; and son Steven (Tiffany) Reimann; sister Helen Peterson and sister Judy Mapes; granddaughter Jordan Gilbertson, granddaughter Taylor Reimann, grandson Tanner Bush and grandson Tiger Reimann.
Diamond Jim, it's not goodbye; it's see you later. Your spirit was contagious and your company longed for by everyone who knew you. Life won't be the same without you in it.
James was preceded in death by; mother Jennie Reimann and father Vern Reimann; sister Barbara Laverne Reimann.
Private services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Following which, a public Celebration of Life for Jim will be held on the same day from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Illahee Hills Country Club, 3376 Country Club Dr S, Salem, OR 97302.
