After a years-long battle with Parkinsons and associated dementia, Jeffrey (Jeff) Gale Roselle, 74, died in the early morning hours of October 31, 2025. He was in the loving presence of his wife, Patrice.
Jeff was born in Oakland, California to William (Bill) and Marlee Roselle. He was the oldest and only brother to sisters Lori and Susan. At South Salem High School in 1969, he met the love of his life, Patrice Currie. Jeff and Patrice married in August 1972 and shared many joyful years before welcoming their two children, Ashlie and Alex.
Jeff was a dedicated businessman who owned and operated Salem Auto Sales for 31 years and the treasurer of the Oregon Auto Dealers Association. He was hardworking and honest; taking pride in building trust with his customers and colleagues. Jeff found joy in golfing, snow skiing, softball, and was an accomplished marathon runner. He devoted many years to coaching Alex and his teammates in Leslie Little League baseball and, in his later years, enjoyed watching his grandchildren in the sports and activities they love. Above all, Jeff was proud of his family and his role as a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Patrice; their children Ashlie (Arik) Tronnes, Alex (Emily) Roselle; his four grandchildren Charlotte and Maizie (Ashlie), and Easton and Sydney (Alex); his sisters Lori (Alan) Cook and Susan (Rich) Outcalt; and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oregon Humane Society Salem Campus in Jeff’s honor.
