Joel Donovan Arthur

Joel was the beloved son of Everett and Beverley Arthur. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; daughters, Danielle and Anna; his brother, Michael; nieces, nephews and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett, and his son, David.

Joel had a deep love for music and was a talented bass player who played in numerous bands throughout his life. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. Known for his kind heart and generosity, Joel served as a surrogate father figure to many who were fortunate to know him.

He dedicated himself to helping others through various roles throughout his lifetime. Joel worked as a volunteer firefighter in Yorktown Heights, NY – where he grew up- and later as a 911 operator in Payson, AZ. His career path included many other endeavors.

A private service may be held at a later date to honor Joel’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Joel’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he be remembered for the joy he brought to others and the lasting impact of his kindness and love.
