John Runner II of Salem, Oregon passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. He was born in Salem, Oregon on October 28, 1953 to Dale & Helen (Snyder) Runner. He was engaged to Sandra Morgan. John worked as a Mechanic / Auto Wrecker and loved working on cars, fishing, and gardening.
John is survived by his children Tony Runner, Joe Russell, and Tabitha Evans; grandchildren Mellissa, Tiffany, Sharee, Engelica, Mikey, Lisa, Joey, Dylan, Oliver, and Audrey; and sister Debra Gerber.
A visitation for John will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Howell, Edwards, Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM, 1350 Commercial Street SE, Salem, OR 97302. He will be laid to rest at Belcrest Memorial Park.
