Salem ~ Lea Lou Goodman passed away on May 6, 2010 at Salem Hospital at the age of 81. Lea was born January 3, 1929 in Spokane, Washington to Clifton and Marie Abrams. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1946, and was Queen of Jobs Daughters in 1947. She married Dick Goodman in Lake Tahoe, California, and they were married over 30 years.
Lea worked in social services for 25 years for the State of Oregon. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and bridge. Lea had a zest for life, an infectious enthusiasm and a heart of gold. She will be remembered for her good friendships, for the love she had for her family, and for always being there for others.
Lea was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Goodman, and son Kirk Bushnell. She is survived by children Dawn Keith, Mike Goodman, Kathy Ingham, Barbie Quinn, Nancy Rost, Debbie Allison, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2 p.m. at Lancaster Village, 4138 Market Street NE, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O.
