Linda Lee Roth

She was born on July 28th, 1942 in Utica, NY to Fred and Beverly Schwarz. After a few years they settled in Salem, OR where Linda excelled in school, baton, piano and singing 1st soprano in Jobe’s Daughters. Linda graduated from South Salem High School where she met her beloved husband of 65 years, William Roth “Bill”.

Linda was a devoted mother and home maker. She also waitressed part time, volunteered in Sunday school and enjoyed performing with Bill in musical theater. They worked together for many years at their cabinet business and also developed real estate and custom homes.

Linda had a passion for crafts, wedding planning, gardening and landscape design. She enjoyed helping others and being that great shoulder to cry on. Her biggest pride and joy was her family, with whom she treasured above all else. She will be forever loved and missed.

Linda is preceded in death by parents Fred and Beverly Schwarz, brother Fred Schwarz Jr and husband Bill Roth.

She is survived by siblings Paul Schwarz, Mary Robeson, Kathy Bartosz, Dave Schwarz, children Bill Jr Roth (Sarah), Robert Roth (Janice), Shelly Poitras (John), Holly Benton (Russ), Ron, grandchildren Billy, Katia, Sterling, Tristan, Emily, Ryan and great children Thora, Freya, Thane and Joel.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, February 28th, 2026 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Salem, OR.
