My condolences to Lynette’s family. I met Lynette at QP while going through OCIA. She was a very special lady and will be missed.

Lynette came into our lives many many years ago. We met through her friendship with our daughter Heather when Heather lived in Columbia Md. 
Lynette was one of those loving souls who when you meet her you just know what a gift to the world she is. 
As I said she helped so many people and touched so many lives for this and many other things we are truly  blessed. Over the years even after she moved back home to Salem Oregon she would come east to see old friends and stayed with us. Lynette lived her faith in every way and if there ever was a need for spiritual guidance she would offer herself in a loving , gentle and with wisdom  that it brought great comfort. Thank you Lynette for being our friend

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Lynette LaRosa, a beloved member of our OCIA team for many years. Lynette's devotion to the Communion of Saints was a gift to all who journeyed through our Tuesday night sessions. She had a remarkable ability to bring the lives of the saints to life, sharing their heroic virtues with such insight and enthusiasm that countless inquirers found inspiration in their stories—and in her faith.

Lynette was a faithful parishioner, a generous soul, an Army veteran, and a Benedictine Oblate. She kept us closely connected to the monks of Mt. Angel Abbey and never failed to remind us that we were in her prayers, especially the newest members of our community.

Her quiet strength, deep spirituality, and unwavering dedication will be missed, but her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched.

May she now rejoice among the saints she so loved. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
