Was sadly given the news of your passing Dr. Stoenner... You cared for my animal friends from the time we moved to Oregon in 1996, then added care of my extended family, all being given the best of care for their critters too. I have spoken of your kindness often, and was doing it today, as my Vet here near Turner informed us of your death. 
I stopped talking and teared up at the very idea you would no longer be here to look out for so many people and their pets, as you were a true champion....You were a true friend... you were warm hearted and spoke for all creatures, big and small... feathered, furry & even treated my daughters pet chicken... I have missed your kindness over the years since we moved, and have never forgotten you or your big heart... The world is less kind for having lost you. Let me leave you with a smile.... Dr. Stoenner, my new Vet is Dr. Joynt.... what are the odds for that?!! : ) yes, it's okay to laugh... in fact, laughter is the best medicine. : ) I'm hugging you, Cheryl ( Forgive me if I spelled that wrong, it's been a long time, but I remember you fondly too) and hoping your broken heart is able to be refilled with the wonderful memories of such a good man. He touched so many hearts, I will always keep him, and you, close to mine. Melissa Sansing

sending my sincerest condolences for the loss of Dr. Stoner.  He had a huge impact on the veterinarian community.  We highly respect him. He always made sure to go over and above for those  in the community. He will definitely be missed.
