Martin loved his wife, kids, grandchildren, friends, and friends he considered his family. Martin claimed a lot of his kids’ friends as his own kids. He would always tell them how to survive in life and not go down the wrong paths. Martin enjoyed life and everyone in his life.
Martin moved to Oregon in 1986 from Mexico. He began working as a landscaper with his family. Later on in life he started to be a roofer. Martin was a hard worker and never took a break. He was always on the go. Martin even enjoyed gardening. He had gardens at home or at places he worked at.
Proceeded in death by his mom/dad and step son Dakota West.
Survivors: Wife Sharon Escutia, 3 sons Jonathan Escutia, Juan Escutia, and Martin Escutia Jr. Daughter Selena Escutia. Grandkids: Nico, Ezequiel, JJ (Jonathan Jr.), Junior, Ayden, and Dean.
A Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 721 Chemeketa St NE, Salem, OR 97301. A Graveside Service will then be held at Belcrest Memorial park at 12:00 pm.
