She was born in Dais, Missouri on February 11, 1926.
She was married to Lee Roy Colbert on April 4, 1947.
Ruth worked for the Benedictine Sisters in Mt. Angel. She was a member of the Marquam Methodist Church.
She was survived by daughter Rebecca Reppeto (John), grandchild Derek Anderson (Melissa), great-grandchildren Korinna and Kourtney, great-great grandchild Margo. Ruth is preceded in death by siblings Howard Cox and Jesse Cox.
