Mary moved to Salem after high school and began a 36 1/2 year career with the Oregon Dept of Revenue. She was married to Doug Brown for 31 years. She was the stepmother of Doug’s three children: Kim Davies, Kenny Brown and Janelle McFadden; Grandmother to Zack, Jake, Christopher, Paul, Katie and Scott and Greatest Aunt 1.0 to many loving nieces and nephews.
Mary was always known as a #1 volunteer at her church, New Harvest. She spent many hours working at Food Share, Hallman Grade School and the Salem Relay for Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to any of her favorite charities, especially: Union Gospel Mission or Marion-Polk Food Share.
Services for Mary will be held Saturday, January 24th at 11:00am, at Dayspring Fellowship, 1755 Lockhaven Drive NE, Keizer, OR. Mary is in the care of Howell Edwards Doerksen Funeral Home.
