

Wanda was born July 31, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Robert and Adah Fowler. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland, Oregon on June 1, 1945 and later lived in Klamath Falls, Turner, and Sweethome.
Wanda married Clarence Dan Gallup May 12, 1946 and had four children: Brent, Jeff, Terrill, and Lorrie. On April 13, 1958 Wanda married James Wilbur Rutter and had two children: Wanda “Eve” and Neal.
Wanda did a variety of jobs during her life but valued working with the Girl Scouts and the youth in her community. Wanda loved working with people and caring for them. She taught Sunday School for 25 years and was a mother of prayer.
Wanda loved her children and taught them to love others. She enjoyed crafts, reading her Bible, and gatherings with family and friends. Wanda's strength led her family to emerge from crushing poverty. The most important thing to Wanda was belonging to the Lord Jesus and that her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren know the Lord.
Wanda is survived by her son Brent Gallup of Sweethome, Oregon, son Jeff and wife Vanesa Gallup also of Sweethome, daughter Terrill and husband Arnie Boers of Carnation, Washington, daughter Lorrie and husband Jerry Hardin of Nampa, Idaho, son Neal and wife Lisa Rutter of Klamath Falls, 20 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James, her daughter Eve, and grandson Tyler.
